BC Regional Council of Carpenters

About Us

On behalf of the British Columbia Regional Council of Carpenters (BCRCC), welcome to our website.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC), our parent organization, represents approximately 500,000 highly skilled men and women throughout the building trades industries in North America. In British Columbia and Yukon the BCRCC represents world-class carpenters, scaffolders, and floor-coverers. We have two training facilities in B.C., one in Prince George, and a 40,000-square-foot training facility in Vancouver that we share with the UBC Millwrights and UBC Piledrivers. These facilities help us maintain a forerunner position in developing skilled tradespeople.

Our goal to be the highest paid workers in our crafts requires UBC members to be the most skilled and productive workers in our industry. Part of the equation is met with the training centre infrastructure and our UBC training programs. The other essential requirement is being a member with the right attitude. Showing up for work every day and on time, giving 100% effort, and taking advantage of skills derived from UBC training programs is the formula for our success and the success of our signatory employers.

If you are a worker who subscribes to these values, our union wants you as a member. If you are an employer who values our formula for success, we look forward to working with you to our mutual benefit.
