Topnotch Employment Services Inc., commenced operation as a privately owned, placement agency on June 3rd, 1992. Operation began with two staff members, its owner, Terry Sawh, and one employee. Topnotch has now been operating for over 25 years with constant growth.
We are a reputable company providing temporary, part-time, contract, flex work programs, permanent and persons with disabilities staffing in categories such as Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, Recruitment Consultants, Human Resource Assistants, Accountants, Financial Analysts, Clerical Support, Data Entry, Customer Service/Cashiers, Collectors, Mailroom/Courier Service, Print Production Operators, Electronic Recycling Operators, Maintenance Mechanics, Graphic Designers, IT Support Staff, Software Developers, Electrical Engineers, Warehousing and Manufacturing skill and unskilled categories of workers.
The growth of Topnotch has been accompanied by an expansion in its business vision. At the end of 2014, the company had numerous established clients across different industries such as Warehousing/Logistics, Human Resources, Food Processing, Manufacturing, IT Engineering, Retail, Services, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, in the GTA and immediate environs. Some of our clients have been with Topnotch for more than 12 years demonstrating the ability to cater to clients’ needs on an ongoing basis.
Topnotch expanded its services in 2016 and has opened a new office in Brampton, ON. Topnotch Employment Services Inc., continues to focus on Business Development with various companies. The company will continue to focus and expand on the new People with Disabilities Division as well as focusing on acquiring more permanent status roles.
Topnotch is unique because of its proactive approach in achieving the highest level, product knowledge for all of its employees, both in-house and in the field. Topnotch in-house staff constantly engages in webinars that promote professional development and industry knowledge. Our health and safety policy is certainly something we are proud of as we are constantly in the top 5 percent in various industry audits. Our temporary employees are all fully trained with WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System). The President of Topnotch was amongst the first batch of suppliers who participated and completed the well-respected Accenture Mentorship Program. Many of the business strategies discussed during that mentorship, has been implemented into practice at Topnotch.
