Job Description
The successful candidate will possess strong Project Management skills and will work at our design office in Lindsay, Ontario. Working knowledge and experience regarding the Sawmill Industry would be an asset but is not required. TS Manufacturing is seeking a Project Manager to lead team members to successful completion of their tasks within allocated timelines, budgets, and scopes of manufacturing projects.
Responsibilities
- Completing detailed project schedules and budget allocations, while monitoring and reporting on a project's overall status.
- Identify and secure sub-contractors to assist in the completion of the project as necessary.
- Organize installation dates with the client and TS managers.
- Manage all communications with the client.
- Review and initiate invoicing with Accounts Receivable.
- Allocate work to team members while reviewing project completion in relation to timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large projects from beginning to end
- Working experience in one or more of the following specialty areas;
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering as it relates to fabrication/assembly of automated equipment
- Bulk material handling equipment and processes design
- Sawmill/lumber breakdown/handling design
- Project management on integrated mechanical systems and startups
- Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD 2010 or later, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Occasional travel may be required. Must have valid Passport.
- Ability to work extra hours to ensure a successful project as required
- 2D/3D CAD experience is an asset (preferably Autodesk Inventor)
- A driven, self-motivated, and problem solving individual
