THE ROLE
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Personnel Support Programs, the Deputy Manager, PSP, plans, coordinates, manages, monitors, and evaluates the operations and delivery of specialty interest operations and applicable facilities. They plan, analyze, evaluate, formulate, develop, adapt and implement financial and administrative methods, procedures, standards and guidelines as well as plan, coordinate and direct the administrative process. They advise, guide and direct operations and managers in the day-to-day operation of the applicable facilities. The incumbent assists with the development of budgets and business plans and monitors revenues and expenses. They administer, analyze, and forecast budgets, expenditure and financial activities. In addition, they gather, track and report financial information and data to prepare budget proposals for public and non-public funds. They authorize, record, and document financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Recreation Services, or a related field, AND several years of experience in a related field.
