Duration: Fixed term 12 month contract
Position Summary:
This position is a fixed term 12 month contract and is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are prepared, processed and accurate. He/she also ensures that the customer’s inventory levels are adequate and accurate. He/she will participate in great communication between office and warehouse staff. Also, the clerk will be responsible for daily reporting of transactions, etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Prepare and process shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Prepare orders for warehouse personnel.
- Develop and maintain liaison with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Maintain inbound schedule and communicate with carriers when necessary.
- Monitor customer’s inventories to ensure accuracy and that orders can be filled.
- Reconcile daily transactions and complete accurate data entry of daily/monthly reports.
- Audit outbound loads prior to shipping.
- Order supplies and other general office duties.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Customer service and operations background
- Excellent communication skills People skills
- Familiarity with public warehousing and 3PL operations
- Experience with WMS Proficient with Microsoft office Highly organized
