Duties and responsibilities
- Partner and collaborate with the company to provide technical training advice.
- Keep abreast of aviation regulations and ensure compliance. Identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability.
- Update and maintain training materials
- Participate in recruitment activities and conduct testing with potential fuel agents. Facilitate technical training programs, including orientation of new employees and training of trainers.
- Train all fuel officers on paperwork, policies, procedures, equipment and daily expectations.
- Conduct verification inspections with all new officers to ensure they are familiar with the procedures.
- Familiarize agents with all the equipment they will use during the day.
- Familiarize new agents with all procedures such as customer relations, check-in and exit procedures, refueling procedures, and communication procedures.
- Perform the refueling procedure with officers and ensure that they know where the refuelling stations are located and that they have the appropriate documentation.
- Perform spot checks on agents while they are at work, verifying compliance with procedures, while observing their habits, time management skills and customer relationships using our company's tools.
Requirements and qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assert oneself and make logical decisions
- Experience in airport rules and regulations / security compliance role, an asset
- Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and airlines

- Participate in recruitment activities and carrying out tests to potential fuel agents. Facilitate technical training programs, including new hire orientation and trainer the trainer.
- Train all fuel agents on paperwork, policies, procedures, equipment, and day-to-day expectations.
- Perform audits inspections with all new agents to ensure they are familiar with procedures
- Familiarize agents with all equipment they will use throughout the day
- Familiarize new agents with all procedures such as customer relations, check-in, and checkout procedures, fueling procedures, and communication procedures.
- Perform the fueling procedure with agents and ensure they know where the fueling stations are located along with the appropriate paperwork.
- Carry out spot checks on agents while they are on the job, checking for correct process adherence, while observing their habits, time management skills and customer relations using our company tools
Requirements and Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• The ability to be assertive and make logical decisions
• Experience in airport rules and regulations / safety compliance role an asset
• Strong transportation and airline industry knowledge
