Job Summary
Conduct accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure compliance with all regulations, legislation and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities of the position
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the ledger is accurate and complete.
- Review and analyze financial information and prepare the reports and accounting statements required to help the management team make sound decisions.
- Provide support to internal and external audit processes (e.g. airport authorities).
- Prepare bank reconciliations or daily/monthly reports.
- Contribute to and participate in the annual budget review process.
- Provide support to key accounting processes such as the capital ledger.
- Participate in the annual insurance renewal process
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce accurate and timely reports
- Other ad hoc analyses and reports
Qualifications and skills
- University degree (or equivalent) preferably in finance or accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent understanding of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and easy familiarity with new computer tools
- Ability to work within demanding deadlines, flexibility, sense of communication and ability to work in a team
- Good ability to make decisions based on facts and analysis
- Good ability to build relationships
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving ability
- First-rate personal and professional integrity

Job Summary
Perform accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of journal entries to ensure general ledger is accurate and complete
- Review and analyze financial information and prepare required accounting reports and statements to support the management team with good decision making.
- Provide support for the auditing processes both internal and external (e.g., airport authorities)
- Prepare daily/monthly banking reconciliations or reports
- Contribute and participate in the annual budget review process
- Provide support on key accounting processes such as the capital asset subledger
- Assist in annual insurance renewal process
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Accurately and timely reports
- Other ad hoc analysis and report
Qualifications and Competencies
- University degree (or equivalent) preferred, relevant area finance / accounting
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Excellent understanding of ERP Systems (e.g., SAP)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and easy familiarisation with new IT Tools
- Ability to work under demanding deadlines, flexible, communicative and ability to work in teams
- Good decision-making skills based on facts and analyses
- Good relationship building skills
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
