Under the direction of the Family Healing & Wellness Centre, the Clinical Coordinator acts as clinical lead and Intake as a senior practitioner of the Residential Team. The Clinical Coordinator will assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the Family Healing & Wellness Centre program to ensure that the programming meets the current developmental, treatment, and psycho-social needs of the client group. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure clients’ needs are met at and Intake level as well as provide clinical consultation to the team. This position will ensure the provision of current clinical best practices and holistic treatment services for families through a variety of interventions and a 24-hour care setting that is consistent with the vision, mission and core values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.
Qualifications and Requirements: An HBSW or HBSc.(Psych.) Required. A related degree combined with job experience will be considered. Three or more years providing evidence-based treatment and interventions (i.e., DBT, CBT, behaviour therapy); experience utilizing a variety of treatment modalities in the field of Mental Health/Addictions Services particularly relating to Anishinabek clients; additional assessment courses and experience is preferred; experience in a residential setting is preferred; experience in clinical lead role is preferred.
Must have: Satisfactory CAS Penlieu Search; satisfactory Criminal Records Search; ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Family Healing and Wellness Centre Manager in relation to service requirements; must posses a Class “G” Driver’s License and must have access to a personal vehicle; Must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health.
