Overview of Position:
Cobra Enterprises Ltd. requires a Journeyman Construction Electrician for the division, Cobra Mechanical. The successful candidate will have prior Foreman experience and be willing to regularly travel to Norway House.
The Journeyman Electrician must have a strong dedication to health and safety in the workplace, ensuring they perform their duties in accordance with Cobra Enterprises Ltd.’s and Cobra Mechanicals policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, assemble, install, repair, test and maintain electrical fixtures and systems that provide heat, light, power or control at residential or commercial sites.
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams
- Installation and maintenance of wiring systems
- Bending and installing conduit
- Install, maintain, and/or repair electrical wiring equipment
- Installing electrical apparatus, equipment, and fixtures
- Complying strictly with Electrical Code and local building regulations
- Carrying out plans for electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems.
- Clean and maintain site facilities and equipment and comply with all safety standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Appropriate credentials and certifications Construction Journeyperson Electrician.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel to Norway House for up to 3 weeks at a time.
Other Qualifications:
- Proven abilities, and strong organization skills in completing the task assigned.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Work conditions:
Travel to off-site locations is required on a rotation of 21 days on / 7 days off, ability to lift 50+ lbs, required safety equipment, hazards associated with the trade, work both indoors and outdoors, construction sites, noise, irregular hours, overtime as required.
