The Residential Care Worker (RCW) assists clients to live successfully in residential settings in the community. The position ensures that clients’ physical, emotional, social, recreational, economic, educational, and/or medical needs are met and assists them to enhance their quality of life through activities of daily living and the development and maintenance of life skills. The RCW works in a residential setting and in the community, alone or with other staff.
This position requires a certificate or diploma in a related field such as Social Sciences, Education or Psychology. You with experience working with developmentally disabled adults are preferred. You must have First aid and CPR certificate, and a class 5 drivers' license. Permanent positions require a class 4 driver’s license.

Wages start at $23.90 per hour, with increases as per the collective agreement.
