Description:
Class DZ - Route Specialist
Compensation : $65000 / annually
Type of position: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Work daytime Monday-Friday - you can be home in the evenings and weekends!
Responsibilities :
- Plans, distribute, monitor, and follow-up with daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.
- Successfully plan and schedule drivers, truck loads and routes.
- Role model for Route Sales excellence. By example, sets high executional standards for the team.
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Responsible for covering routes within a territory.
- Proven ability to execute and train Primo Water North America's standards for all processes related to customer service, order delivery, and inventory.
- Strong team player with leadership skills and ability to support the District Operations Manager
- Ability to problem solve and manage conflict within a team
- Willingness to participate in the mentoring of new hires (if required)
- Proven ability to operate a commercial vehicle in a manner that ensures personal and public safety in unfamiliar service areas
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) five years with a stable work history
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 45-50 pounds safely
- Strong sales techniques, communications, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to meet Company Driver Qualification Policy
- A valid driver's license and good driving record is a must.
- Comfortable working on computers, answering emails and dealing with customer service inquiries and contacting customers.
