Patrick Sprack Limited (PSL) was formed in 2006 as a Preventative Maintenance Oriented HVAC company. Since this time, we have become a reputable and leading Northern Ontario HVAC-R contractor to the mines, industrial sites as well as commercial properties.
PSL provides a variety of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, petroleum, propane, and refrigeration services ranging from planned maintenance (both preventative and full coverage), inspections and diagnostic services as well as repairs, retrofits and new installations for commercial and industrial mechanical systems.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to follow instructions
- Help install, align, take apart and move machinery and
- Mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Use rigging and hoisting equipment.
- Help inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
- Promote a positive customer experience with a strong focus upon a qualitative service/product
- Technical sales by providing proper measurements, ordering supplies, and completing work orders.
- Installing garage doors (Residential, Commercial, Industrial)
- nstalling dock levelers (Hydraulic, Air-Powered, Mechanical)
- Troubleshooting maintenance issue (Dock and Doors)
- Maintenance and repair work (Dock & Doors) Repairing machines and systems, equipment installation and operation monitoring to ensure that mechanical doors are installed and functioning properly.
- Complete all proper documentation, work orders and any required part sourcing
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Ability to use precision tools such as laser alignment equipment, dial indicators, micrometers and precision and optical levels
- May use testing equipment such as vibration analysis as well as other techniques used in predictive and preventive maintenance
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a time
- Ability to use Laser Alignment or Dial Alignment tooling
- Performs related duties as required.
- Millwrighting Apprenticeship set up with Ontario College of Trades
- Knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in the Millwright and related trades.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Millwrighting Apprenticeship set up with Ontario College of Trades
- Knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in the Millwright and related trades.
- Valid Drivers License
Work Conditions:
- Field work (outdoors, dusty/dirty environments)
- Driving (sitting for extended periods, maintaining focus and alertness while operating company vehicle)
- At times it may be necessary to work outside of the regular work day in order to complete their duties.
