Skills & Experience
- Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
- 2+ years mining experience
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, John Deere, Liebherr, P&H, Sandvik, and/or Atlas Copco equipment
- Valid drivers license
Core Duties
Our Heavy Duty Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing:
- Internal combustion engines and engine auxiliary systems
- Power trains, clutches, fluid drives, transmissions, transfer drives, drive lines, differentials, final drives and steering clutches
- Electrical system components and circuits
- Frames, chassis, supporting structures, wheels, undercarriages, cabs and accessories, heating and air-conditioning systems, canopies and protective structures
